Three parties set off at 10.0a.m. My five fearless females enjoyed the beautiful day, with slight cooling breeze, traversing the beaches and rocky headlands as far as Fisherman's Cove. We then ascended the rocks and proceeded through the reserve, along Marine Parade, to Army Bay. A wonder through the shade of Waterfall Gully and the open fields to the magnificent viewing at the lookout in Shakespear Reserve was rewarded by a delightful swim at Army Bay.
Of course the medium party of mighty men, and the fast couple, could go all the way around the rocks to Army Bay, so plenty of time to do more of Shakespear Park, then loll around after swimming. - The fast ones could do circuits of the Park, to their heart's and bodies' content!!
All seemed to enjoy the day, thanks to Helen Orchard making it possible, by transporting us to and from the Peninsula.
Thanks, Pam
