Dora had organised perfect weather and twenty trampers came along to enjoy a wonderful day. Somehow she had fixed the tides to be just right too, so those of us who wanted to could walk and scramble the rocky shore.
Lunch was under a tree in Browns Bay then on via the walkways and Winstones cove to Long Bay – past the lone pill box now in the middle of housing- one of several we saw in the course of the day and a reminder of the coastal defences.
Thanks Dora for organising this and using your powers to influence both weather and tides!
